The MIT™ 2 is the improved version of the original Macula Integrity Tester™ for testing and training eccentric fixation. It features a separate rotating Polaroid unit and electronic control box, which makes it easier to see the Haidinger brush. The control box allows for speed changes and reversal of the brush rotation, and the LED flashlight allows for a new technique of pursuit training. The MIT™ 2 also includes all the cards and targets that came with the original MIT™. Additionally, the light box includes a built-in Worth 4 Dot Test, and replacement parts are available for purchase separately
