These acrylic ophthalmic prisms have been re-engineered to solve the problem of birefringence which can hinder their use in certain clinical applications. Our exclusive manufacturing process greatly reduces optical strain, producing prisms that virtually eliminate clinical birefringent effects. Our prisms are calibrated for use in the frontal plane position.
Note: Use only mild soap and water to clean prisms! Alcohol will degrade the quality of the product over time.
