The Hemianopsia Reading Guide helps increase reading speed and comprehension. Without the guide, those with field loss or neglect will often leave off part of a line and miss or change the meaning of the sentence. With the guide, one reads until coming to the stop or returns back until the go barrier. Reading guides are made of durable vinyl which does not easily bend. Both a right and a left guide come in kit, but would used by different patients.
