This model was created when we were approached at ASCRS in 2016 with a simple request from a doctor: create an easy to understand model which explains not only the causes of Dry Eye (lacrimal and/or meibomian gland dysfunction), but how it is diagnosed (staining techniques and infrared imaging) and treated (punctal plugs). We hope you find this model as useful as we do!
