Enable the prescribed color found using the Intuitive Colorimeter® to be reproduced as a tinted lens. The Precision Tinted™ Lenses are dyed to a degree of accuracy beyond that normally found in ophthalmic tinting and are issued with a certificate of authenticity to verify this. With this patented system an almost infinite number of different tints are available.

Before 2007, US practitioners who had the Intuitive Colorimeter® had to get their lenses from England. Cerium has now trained the Bernell staff with a spectrometer and special software which matches the 7 filters in the Colorimeter. The lenses that you send will be Precision Tinted™ to match the hue and saturation found using the Intuitive Colorimeter®. Regular labs do not have this equipment and can not accurately replicate colors.

Bernell can make the entire prescription for you or will Precision Tint™ lenses that you supply. We will be happy to supply you with a copy of our lab fees or quote a price for a specific prescription. We believe our prescription pricing is very competitive. Precision Tinting™ includes a UV blocking agent.

You must have a Colorimeter Test Measurement to receive Precision Tinted™ Lenses. In tests described in references, Overlay results have proven inaccurate for ordering Precision Tinted™ lenses.
