Track with Letters™ is a program designed to assist in the creation of "worksheets" for persons with saccadic fixation difficulties. The program generates default or customized worksheets consisting of scrambled letters where the child scans for targets word or letters. It is also helpful in developing hand-eye coordination skills.
This software allows an optometrist, occupational therapist, vision therapist, teacher or parent to design and print worksheets that train the eyes to make correct saccadic movements. The reader's task is to quickly scan the entire sheet for the target letters featured at the top. As the reader locates the correct letters he/she cirlces or highlights them. Printed sheets consist of a letter pattern on the top of the page, and scramble of letters below. Users have the option to modify worksheets in many ways to tailor their individual needs. Customizing options include among other features: the ability to choose number of lines, font size, amount of letters per line, and spacing of lines and letters, allowing the user to gradually increase demands while training.
