Beginning in the summer, Bernell will be producing a Wolff Standup Cheiroscope. This instrument was designed by Bruce Wolff, OD. As a practical instrument for performance testing and visual therapy procedures. While incorporating new technology, this updated design remains as practical and durable as the original model. Simple design and low maintenance assures years of affordable use.
Easy adjustment makes it practical to administer cheiroscopic testing to patients from age 4 through adult. Testing provides information about eye-hand coordination, bi-manual symmetry, and qualities of binocularity such as suppression and binocular stability. Hard copy results can be a valuable tool for understanding functional visual difficulties.
An instruction manual prepared by the Behavioral Vision Project (BVP) provides a structured guide to a recommended testing sequence. The manual also includes discussions of observations available in testing, analysis and use of testing information, and therapy procedures utilizing the cheiroscope. An initial supply of 3 pads of testing forms (25/pad) and recording forms are included.
Call for information, or we can send you a fax concerning this item. The Standup Cheiroscope testing and training is taught in seminars held by the Behavioral Vision Project. Call Bernell for information regarding times and locations of these seminars.
